) - Dai Nippon Printing Dai Nippon Printing (大日本印刷 Dai Nippon Insatsu  and ColorZip Japan Inc. have formed a partnership in the development of Colorcode, a next-generation 2-dimensional code. The two companies will expand its market by applying ColorZip's Colorcode technology for various design variations.

Information is coded onto a 5 x 5 square design with four color codes Noun 1. color code - system using colors to designate classifications
code - a coding system used for transmitting messages requiring brevity or secrecy
 of red, blue, green and black. Users can extract information such as websites, and URLs by reading the code through mobile phone cameras.

The two companies will search other media such as television screen and advertisements where this technology can be applied.
