Dad tells of 'monstrous' lies as killer Lindo jailed; murdEr.

By DAvID cOLLINS MuSIC teacher Andrew Lindo was yesterday jailed for a minimum of 22 years for the brutal murder of fiance Marie Stewart.

Lindo, 29, was found guilty of strangling and stabbing the mother of his two children before leaving her body in a bag in the garage for seven weeks as he moved his mistress into their home.

, 55, said after the hearing that Lindo had abused his family on a "monstrous scale".

"It is difficult to imagine a more gut-wrenching experience than to be told that your daughter's body has been found in the garage of their family home," he said.

Mr Justice Andrew Smith said Lindo, of Holmfirth, West Yorks, may never be released because of his "extraordinary cunning and facility for deceit".

He told Bradford crown court the term reflected the "cruel and sustained nature" of the attack and that their children were in the house at the time.

He added: "I have seen no sign of remorse."
