 DYNCORP WINS SECOND ANTI-DRUG PROGRAM
RESTON, Va., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- DynCorp, formerly Dynalectron

Corporation, has been awarded a U.S. Department of Justice contract to provide aircraft maintenance and related support to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The 10-month contract, valued at more than $8 million, began Dec. 1 and includes support for DEA aircraft at various locations in the United States. Approximately 160 DynCorp employees will be assigned to the contract.
Aimed at curtailing the flow of illegal drugs, the anti-drug contract is the second such program awarded to DynCorp this year. According to DynCorp President and CEO Dan R. Bannister: "DynCorp has a long history of aviation support. We're proud to be able to use this experience in the nation's war on drugs." DynCorp is currently the largest provider of aircraft support to the U.S. Department of Defense and other government agencies. The company has approximately 6,500 employees involved in such activities.
Headquartered in Reston, DynCorp is an employee-owned diversified professional and technical services company, providing a broad range of services to government and industry clients worldwide.
