NEW YORK -- DWS Multi-Market Income Trust (NYSE symbol: KMM) declared a monthly dividend of $0.065 per share, payable on May 31, 2006 to shareholders of record on May 18, 2006. The Ex-date is May 16, 2006. The previous monthly dividend was $0.065 per share. The Fund's initial offering was April 21, 1988.

The current distribution rate represents a 8.09% annualized dividend yield based on the closing market price of $9.64 on May 5, 2006 and a 7.87% annualized dividend yield on a closing NAV of $9.91 on the same date.
