The Department of Water Resources will convene CONVENE, civil law. This is a technical term, signifying to bring an action.  a Local Groundwater groundwater
 or subsurface water

Water that occurs below the surface of the Earth, where it occupies spaces in soils or geologic strata. Most groundwater comes from precipitation, which gradually percolates into the Earth.
 Assistance Program Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) and public meeting in Sacramento on May 10, 2004.

The purpose of the meeting is to present to and consult with the TAP and the public regarding DWR DWR Design Within Reach
DWR Department of Water Resources
DWR Direct Web Remoting (Easy Ajax for Java)
DWR Durable Water Repellency
DWR Delayed Word Recall (medical testing)
DWR Driving While Revoked
 staff rankings and the basis for those rankings of Local Groundwater Assistance grant applications.

Scheduled for 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., the TAP meeting will be held at the Bonderson Building Hearing Room, 901 P Street, Room 102 A. Prior to the meeting, there will be an open house starting at 9 a.m. in the same auditorium auditorium

. The open house will provide an informal opportunity for applicants to review their project's summary evaluations and to consult with DWR staff regarding evaluation of their projects.

A public comment period will also be conducted. Recommendations from the TAP and public will be provided to DWR decision makers for consideration before final funding awards are made. Written comments are due May 19 and will be considered before awards are made.
