DWP offers $50 savings bond rebate for spare refrigerators until year end.

"The last day for DWP customers to request the refrigerator or freezer pick-up service is Dec. 31," said Ed Petok, manager of the DWP's recycling program. "If customers call by that date, the DWP will arrange for pick-up in early 1997 and still provide the savings bond rebate."

"We hope DWP customers will take advantage of this final opportunity to turn in their older appliances and receive a new savings bond."
