This year high school students will be urged to develop community projects on green power but may also submit multimedia entries that include logo designs, videos, songs and web sites. Elementary and middle school students in grades K-8 will continue to develop posters. The contest is open to all public schools in LAUSD LAUSD Los Angeles Unified School District (Los Angeles, CA) and private/parochial schools in the city of Los Angeles. Specific contest rules and information will be distributed. Winning posters in last year's contest were included in a full-page ad in the Los Angeles Times Los Angeles Times Morning daily newspaper.
