DVDO Selects Y/C Plus as Distributor of iScan Plus Video Line Doubler.


CAMPBELL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 28, 1999--

DVDO, Inc. announced today that it has selected Y/C Y/C Luminance/Chrominance  Plus of Topeka, Ks. as a distribution organization for DVDO's video enhancement consumer electronics product, the iScan Plus(TM) PureProgressive(TM) Display Interface.

The iScan Plus video line doubler has been well received in the home theater and commercial/industrial display markets since initial shipments began in May 1999. The iScan Plus provides high performance line doubling for 31.5 kHz capable display devices, and provides users with 3:2 pulldown detection, and separate algorithms for film sourced video, graphics, and popular video games.

The iScan Plus enhances the video on DTV-ready direct view monitors, LCD projectors, Plasma displays, CRT (1) (C RunTime) See runtime library.
