 Inc., will jointly exhibit in a common booth during the upcoming Microsoft WinHEC2003 conference in New Orleans from May 6 through May 8.

The companies each support a variety of recordable DVD standards (DVD-RAM A rewritable DVD disc endorsed by the DVD Forum. It consists of a keynote speech, technology conference sessions and an exhibition area. It will be held from May 6 to May 8 in New Orleans this year.

Five companies, fully involved in DVD recordable products, will jointly exhibit in a common promotion effort in the WinHEC2003 hall, under the "DVD Recordable Special Interest Group" name.

The DVD Forum

The DVD Forum is a global organization that establishes and promotes DVD standards. As of March 18, 2003, its membership is comprised of 215 electronics manufacturers, software houses, recording media manufacturers, and other companies from around the world.

Of these companies, 17 are steering committee members that oversee the management of DVD Forum activities. Hitachi, Ltd., Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., Pioneer Corp., and Toshiba Corp. are steering committee members.
