DVD PLANT TO GROW; TECHNICOLOR EXPECTS BOOM.

Technicolor announced Wednesday it will spend $10 million to expand its digital versatile disc digital versatile disc or digital video disc (DVD), a small plastic disc used for the storage of digital data. Panasonic opened a DVD-production site in Torrance last August and that facility currently has 100 employees.
