:500HK), one of the world's largest digital cable broadcasting integrators, is ready to turn on its Chinese-language based comprehensive digital cable technical operation in Southern Jiangsu Province, China with a potential of 2+ million home pass utilizing nSTREAMS' dvbSTREAMS(TM) Digital Media Server to provide digital infrastructure, entertainment and educational contents.

In this end-to-end solution architecture, nSTREAMS' Digital Video Broadcast compliant dvbSTREAMS(TM) Digital Media Server plays an important role of MPEG (Moving Pictures Experts Group) An ISO/ITU standard for compressing digital video. Pronounced "em-peg," it is the universal standard for digital terrestrial, cable and satellite TV, DVDs and digital video recorders (DVRs).  video storage and reliable streaming. The video contents are encoded using nSTREAMS MPEG encoders to be stored digitally on dvbSTREAMS(TM) servers. The server real-time multiplexes several single program MPEG transport streams into one multiple program transport stream for digital delivery. It is used to provide normal scheduled programming and near video on demand services.
