Andy, right, departed after repeatedly failing to turn up at recording sessions and engagements. Remaining members Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Rhodes, John (Jacob) (1916– ) U.S. representative; born in Council Grove, Mo. A World War II veteran, he was judge advocate of the Arizona National Guard (1947–52) before going to Congress (Rep. Taylor and Roger Taylor said: "We'll continue without Andy. We can no longer effectively function with him. There is an unworkable gulf between us." Andy, 45, left in 1986 but rejoined in 2001 and shared comeback success. Guitarist Dom Brown replaces him. |
