Gilbert Wright sat stone-faced, and Diana Nice silently sobbed as they heard the eight-man, seven-woman jury's verdict that could give each multiple life sentences.

``We have now put away some of the most serious child molesters I've ever seen,'' said prosecutor Audry Rohn, following the verdict. ``These girls are going to be scarred for life. I feel much better for the children of this community that (Wright and Nice) will be behind bars.''

Judge Edward Brodie immediately revoked the $250,000 bail for Wright and $20,000 for Nice, ordering them to be held in Ventura County jail until they are sentenced June 8.

Wright, 65, was found guilty on 10 counts of performing a lewd act on a child and one count of aggravated sexual assault Aggravated Sexual Assault is when one commits an aggravated assault of a sexual nature and who wounds, maims, disfigures or endangers the life of the complainant.[1][2][3] Citation

Nice, 47, was found guilty on three counts each of performing a lewd act on a child and procuring a child to engage in the lewd act.

``I'm disappointed in the verdicts,'' said Chuck Samonsky Jr., the attorney for Wright. ``I'm sure he is shocked. He didn't say a word. On behalf of my client, we intend to appeal.''

Nice's attorney Jay Johnson Jay Johnson can refer to:

Johnson said Nice is expected to be sentenced to at least 30 to 35 years in jail, and Wright faces a minimum of 130 to 140 years.

Neither defendant testified during the three-week trial.
