ASTON Villa's Gabby Agbonlahor and Ashley Young delivered a devastating duet to defeat Bolton - and celebrated by staying in and watching last night's XFactor final.

The England hopefuls have been smash hits for Martin O'Neill's in tune team this season and yesterday fired them back up to fourth in the Premier League hit parade. But rather than going out on the town to toast their heroics after the 4-2 success over Gary Megson's Trotters, the duo opted for a quiet night in front of the box.

"X-Factor's on in my place," said Young, pledging his support to singer Alexandra Burke. "I think Alexandra should win to be honest but you never know."

And Agbonlahor, who scored twice against Bolton, with a Young strike and a Kevin Davies own goal completing the scoring, added: "I think Alexandra will win - she's the best contestant!"

Meanwhile, manager O'Neill refused to get carried away by Villa's return to the top four.

"It's not really the position we're in, although the fans will be delighted, but it's the points that we've accumulated," he said "We've 31 points on the board now and we've got to try and press forward."
