Mighty Ducks is a half-hour Disney animated series aired on ABC and The Disney Afternoon in the fall of 1996. Twenty-six episodes total were produced.
coach Craig Hartsburg Craig Hartsburg (born June 29, 1959 in Stratford, Ontario, Canada) is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman who played ten seasons with the Minnesota North Stars of the National Hockey League from 1979-80 until 1988-89.  has been a patient man through most of the Ducks' roller-coaster season, but after the loss to Tampa Bay Tampa Bay, inlet of the Gulf of Mexico, 25 mi (40 km) long and 7 to 12 mi (11.3–19 km) wide, W Fla., separated from the Gulf by numerous small islands; it receives the Hillsborough River. St.  on Wednesday night he had seen enough.

Hartsburg put the Ducks through a lenghty video session Thursday and he let his team know that its performance hasn't been acceptable.

``Sometimes a pat on the butt is what is needed, but this week it was time to get mad,'' said Hartsburg before Friday's game against the Kings. ``Sometimes you have to teach differently, just like you would with your kids. It would be nice just to talk, but this is pro sports and sometimes we have to get mad.''

But as upset as Hartsburg was, he insists his team will turn things around.

''At some point this year people will say they (the Ducks) are doing the right things and they are working.``

Special Trouble: The Mighty Ducks' trouble on special teams this season have been well documented. The power play was ranked 27th in the league and the penalty killing 28th heading into Friday's game.

Anaheim was a league-worst minus-12 in special teams situations along with the lowly New York Islanders The New York Islanders are a professional ice hockey team based in Uniondale, a hamlet located on Long Island in Town of Hempstead, Nassau County, New York, United States. . Even Atlanta, an expansion team, was only minus-10.

Somehow the Ducks have managed to stay around the .500 mark in spite of such futility. That is an accomplishment in itself.

Phoenix, which leads the league in points, is plus-17, Philadelphia is plus-13 and Detroit is plus-11. The only teams doing well with a minus ratings are the Kings (minus-3), Vancouver (minus-4) and Toronto (minus-2).

Just in case: With Kevin Haller Kevin Haller (born December 5, 1970 in Trochu, Alberta) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 642 career games in the National Hockey League. Playing career  (injury) not ready to play, the Ducks called up defenseman Dan Trebil Dan Trebil (Born April 10, 1974 in Bloomington, Minnesota) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the NHL with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, Pittsburgh Penguins, and St. Louis Blues. He played defense and shot right handed.  for insurance purposes. Trebil, who has spent much of his career shuttling between Anaheim and the minors was having a good offensive season in Cincinnati. Not previously known for his scoring ability, Trebil had five goals and 17 points in 18 games.

Haller says he is skating at about 70 percent, but said his sprained left knee is still sore when he twists and turns.

''It's coming along,`` he said. ''But I'd be able to tell a lot more when I practice with the team on Monday.``

Jim McKenzie James P. "Jim" McKenzie (born November 3, 1969 in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player.

Selected 73rd overall in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft by the Hartford Whalers, McKenzie has also played for the Dallas Stars, Pittsburgh Penguins, Winnipeg
