Mighty Ducks is a half-hour Disney animated series aired on ABC and The Disney Afternoon in the fall of 1996. Twenty-six episodes total were produced.

Still, the Ducks needed Hedstrom's goal and a late power-play goal by Rob Niedermayer to put the game out of reach. The victory ended the Ducks' three-game losing streak and gave Ducks goalie Ilya Bryzgalov his second career NHL NHL Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, see there  victory and his first of the season.

``When you lose three games in a row, you know you have to turn things around. We'll try to use this as a confidence-booster, but we know we have to do a better job,'' said Ducks forward Teemu Selanne, who scored his third goal in as many games.
