DUBLIN BUS TRAGEDY: THE VICTIMS: THERESA KEATLEY - Tributes to quiet mum.


THERESA from Ballymun, North Dublin, was remembered by one man as a quiet neighbour.

He said: "She seemed a very nice lady. She was very quiet and kept herself to herself. This is really terrible news."

There was nobody home at the 43-year-old mother's third-floor flat in Sillogue Avenue yesterday afternoon.

 said they were ready to lend their support if called on.

One added: "Theresa will be missed. We can still hardly believed this has happened. It's tragic."

Labour Councillor Eamonn O'Brien, who lives in Ballymun, offered his condolences to the victim's family. He said: "This is terrible news. It's hard to take in what has happened."

Cllr O'Brien said the tragedy was something he hoped would never happen again.

He added: "As a former bus driver I find the whole thing appalling.

"It's a terrible tragedy for the victims and their families and my heart goes out to them.

"I also feel for the bus drivers who must be going through an awful time.

"I was 18 years driving double decker buses.

"I had one nasty crash but thankfully thank·ful
