At her home in Tulip Court, Darndale, North Dublin, Margaret was a loved and respected member of her community. It's understood the 59-year-old was on her way to visit a friend in Leixlip, when she was caught up in the carnage. One shocked neighbour and friend said news of the tragedy has not sunk in yet. She added: "Margaret was the nicest person I have ever met." Other residents remembered her for her love of gardening and how she proudly tended flowers and shrubs at her home. The news of her death had started to reach her shocked neighbours early yesterday morning. One said: "We heard that someone from Darndale had been involved in the accident. "Then at mass everyone was saying that someone had died and when we came home we discovered that it was Margaret. "I can't believe it. I was just in having tea with her a couple of days before the crash." Another distressed local said: "All I can tell you about her is that she was the kindest woman you could ever wish to meet. "Everyone is in shock - her daughter is still in hospital and we don't know how she is. We haven't been able to adjust to the situation, it's just so shocking.
