 DU PONT OFFERS $250 MILLION 8 PERCENT EURODOLLAR NOTES
 WILMINGTON, Del., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Du Pont (NYSE: DD)


announced today it is offering $250 million of 8 percent Eurodollar notes due 2002.
 Proceeds will be used for general operating purposes.
 The issue will be sold through underwriters led by Credit Suisse First Boston.
