DTP comes with a plan.

The British Minister for Defence Equipment and Support, Baroness Taylor, has announced the development of a Defence Technology Plan (DTP) with an aim of providing clear direction to the research and development community, which will allow industry to better direct its science and technology efforts. Baroness Taylor said that the DTP is designed to, <<enable transparent prioritisation and coherence across [the] MoD's R&D programme by setting out the research programme in the form of technology roadmaps derived from key R&D objectives>>.
