Intelligent, Plug-and-play Gateway Offering and Self-Install Guide Catalyzes Deployment of DSL For Los Angeles Internet Service Provider 

Cayman Systems, a leading provider of intelligent broadband gateways today announced a joint initiative with DCN Internet, a leading broadband DSL service provider to approximately 50,000 customers in Los Angeles, California. Under the arrangement, DCN will offer Cayman's 3220-H, and 3220-H-W broadband gateways to its customers along with a user-friendly self-install guide supplied by Cayman. This self-install guide will walk customers through the straightforward set up and configuration process. The seamless interoperability between the Cayman gateway and DCN's DSL access infrastructure combined with the "easy-to-use, hard-to-misuse"(TM) self-install capabilities of Cayman's products allow DCN to deliver DSL to the home and small office, in an efficient and cost-effective manner, avoiding the expense of an on-site service installation call.

With the explosion of new broadband services including a wide range of information and entertainment services, customers today are not only demanding rapid deployment but also the ability to connect multiple PCs and Internet-devices through a single DSL connection. Cayman addresses these needs through its offering of broadband gateways placed at the customer premise, supported by both the Home RF and 802.11b wireless standards, allowing customers to choose which best fits their wireless needs.
