The Forum's goal is to foster a sharing of knowledge and best practices between members to make DSL the world's primary choice for broadband services. Through its marketing activities -- an extensive, continuous global public and industry education campaign, the DSL Forum ensures a growing international understanding of the benefits of DSL broadband.

"Though we were pleased with the service we were receiving from AMS, we felt it was prudent to look at alternatives to make sure our members are getting the most support for their dollars," said William Rodey, chairman of the DSL Forum. "It became evident that AMS continues to offer the best fit for the DSL Forum and is committed to our success."

At the recent DSL Forum Summit meeting (August 2002), industry analyst firm Point Topic reported that broadband DSL use around the world has jumped to 25.6 million households and small businesses. "We are making good progress towards our target of 200 million DSL broadband subscribers worldwide by 2005," said Chairman Rodey at the Summit. The demand for DSL broadband has fueled global subscriber growth of 36 percent over the past six months, noted Point Topic at the Summit.

"We can't help but feel committed to the growth and success of our clients. That's why it is extremely exciting as its service provider to see the DSL Forum driving strong industry and consumer acceptance of DSL broadband technology," said Karen Moreland, Association Management Solutions partner. "We couldn't be more pleased with the Board's decision to partner with AMS."
