DSC REPORTS FIRST QUARTER RESULTS.DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- April 17, 1996--DSC Communications Corporation announced today first quarter 1996 operating results. Revenue for the period ended March 31, 1996 was $307.9 million with net income of $11.5 million, or $0.10 per share. The results compared to revenue of $318.0 million with net income of $41.9 million, or $0.36 per share, in the first quarter of 1995. Compared to the same period last year, the revenue decline in the first quarter of 1996 was primarily due to a slower European European emanating from or pertaining to Europe.
