DSC Logistics Names Ritchie Paik as Vice President, Business Development.

Paik to Lead DSC Growth

CHICAGO -- DSC Logistics, an integrated logistics and supply chain management company, headquartered in Des Plaines, Illinois, has named Ritchie Paik as vice president, business development. Paik brings extensive sales experience, and will play a critical leadership role in leading the company in researching, identifying and pursuing new business leads to facilitate and support growth with new customers. He will work closely with Customer Care, Solutions and Marketing Communications to build on the solid foundation already established within DSC's sales function and lead the Business Development group to define and pursue DSC's sales strategies.

Paik's career history reflects his knowledge and expertise in mining sales leads, developing sales strategies, setting sales goals and building the necessary processes and measurements to achieve sales success. He will use his experience to enhance and improve DSC's sales practices and functions. Paik comes to DSC from United Parcel Service (UPS), where he was Director of Sales. In this role he was the department leader of a territory with over $507 million in annualized revenue and 122 employees. He led the organization in the achievement of sales goals and was recognized for outstanding performance, receiving the Directors Award for 2006 and 2007 for "Largest Revenue Growth in the U.S." Also in 2006 he received the Directors Award for "Best In Class Growth to Asia" and "Best In Class Growth in Freight Services." He built and implemented processes and measurements through the development of visions, strategies and tactics that identified progressive milestone successes for his team. He standardized the sales organization in the strategy process, and that streamlined process was adopted company-wide.
