DSA Wins Army Knowledge Management Contract.

TREVOSE, Pa. -- Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Frances R. Pierce announced today the Company has been awarded a major contract for knowledge management and software system engineering from the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T PEO C3T Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications - Tactical (US DoD) ).

The scope of the contract is comprehensive, including project management, content management, administrative and technical support as well as operations, maintenance and application development. In addition to providing knowledge management expertise and information technology support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services , the assignment calls for DSA to support major organizations within the Knowledge Center Consortium* who have partnered with the PEO C3T to leverage the investment in knowledge management.

The four-year contract has a value of $30M when fully funded.

DSA has been providing support to the PEO C3T and its CIO since 1997 when the Army Chief of Staff initiated a long-term program to develop and deploy knowledge management throughout the Army, and designated the Army Acquisition Knowledge Center as one of the three pilot programs. Using web-based technology, state-of-the-art information technology, and process re-engineering, the Knowledge Center effort has increased access to the Army's corporate information, fostered collaboration, and improved efficiency, while overcoming barriers to geographic and organizational boundaries. The Knowledge Center currently has twenty thousand (20,000) registered users.

The DSA/Army Team has been honored with numerous government and commercial awards for its Knowledge Center work. In August, the PEO C3T Chief Information Office received the 2006 Army Knowledge Award for its Army Battle Command Test Portal which was developed by the DSA-led team. DSA's Kathleen Kirk is Program Manager for the contract.

"DSA has successfully achieved all of the objectives of our PEO C3T contracts when providing the services throughout our tenure with the Army's PEO C3T," she said.
