DS Smith introduce Douglas CMWACP machine. (Packaging Equipment).


DS Smith, UK agents for Douglas Machinery, have announced the introduction of the Douglas CMWACP machine; a wrapround case packer packer /pack·er/ (pak´er) an instrument for introducing a dressing into a cavity or a wound.

 specifically designed for the handling of glass bottles. It is a continuous motion machine that is capable of handling bottling speeds of up to 1200 bottles/mm. and up to 50 packs/min. There is an infeed lane guide system that cushions the bottles during product metering and transfer into the case forming section. This protects both synthetic and paper labels from scuffing and other external damage. The versatility of this machine is emphasised through its ability to run solid board and corrugated cor·ru·gate
