DRS Technologies.


DRS Technologies received a $ 2.2 million award from the US Marine Corps for the first phase of the M1A1 Abrams Firepower Enhancement Program (FEP), which includes building and integrating prototypes of a Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared Thermal Imaging System for the tank gunner's sighting system. Successful completion of this contract could lead to the production of over 400 systems.
