A forward looking infrared (FLIR) is the North American English term for a camera that takes pictures using the infrared portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. The work will be performed by the company's DRS Sensors & Targeting Systems - Infrared Technologies Division in Dallas, Texas. The Division will deliver the units between August 2008 and June 2010.
