) announced today that it has received a new $8.3 million contract to manufacture TOW Visual Modules for the Integrated Sight Unit used in the TOW 2 tracking system on U.S. Army and National Guard Bradley Fighting Vehicles. The TOW (Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided) 2 Heavy Anti-Tank weapon is a missile system used in anti-armor, anti-bunker, anti-fortification and anti-amphibious landing roles. TOW is in service with over 45 armed forces and is integrated on over 15,000 ground, vehicle and helicopter platforms worldwide.

The contract was awarded to DRS by the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command Missile Command is a 1980 arcade game by Atari Inc. that was also licensed to Sega for European release. The plot of Missile Command is simple: the player's six cities are being attacked by an endless hail of ballistic missiles, some of them even splitting like , Redstone Arsenal Redstone Arsenal, U.S. rocket research and development center, 38,781 acres (15,694 hectares), N Ala., W of Huntsville; est. 1941. Product deliveries are expected to commence in November of this year and continue through April 2008.

The TOW Visual Module is one of five line replaceable units (LRUs) of the Integrated Sight Unit used in the TOW 2 subsystem. It detects and acquires armored targets, guiding BGM-71D TOW 2 series Heavy Anti-Tank Missiles to their targets.
