) announced today that Michael J. Sheehan has joined the executive leadership team of its C4I C4I Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (US DoD)
C4I Command Control Communications Computer and Intelligence
 Group in Gaithersburg, Maryland, as president of the Group's Tactical Systems strategic business unit. In this new position, Mr. Sheehan will be responsible for managing the strategic activities and operational management of the company's DRS Tactical Systems, Inc. unit in Palm Bay, Florida Palm Bay is a city in Brevard County, Florida, United States. The city estimated its population at 107,538 on 28 July 2007;[3]; it is the most populous city in the county. , and DRS Tactical Systems Ltd. unit in the United Kingdom.

The company's Tactical Systems business is a world leader in high-performance, ultra-rugged computer systems designed to operate in harsh military environments to support the digitization of the 21st century battle space. Tactical Systems manufactures mission-critical rugged computers and workstations that support a wide variety of military modernization and command, control, communications, computer and intelligence (C4I) platform transformation applications for land, sea and air operations. It has a significant role on both the U.S. Army's Force XXI Battle Command, Brigade and Below (FBCB FBCB Force XXI Battle Command Brigade (US Army)

Mr. Sheehan earned an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University, an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University, and a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University.
