DRIVER KILLED IN FREEWAY CRASH.

PALMDALE - A suspected drunk driver was killed when his compact car went out of control and crashed on Sierra Highway Sierra Highway is a road in Southern California, United States. It runs from Tunnel Station near the north limit of the City of Los Angeles, where it intersects with San Fernando Road and Foothill Boulevard, as well as Interstate 5, and continues north to Mojave, mostly paralleling , sheriff's deputies said.

 fence and flipped over the Union Pacific and Metrolink railroad tracks. Lopez wasn't wearing a seat belt and was thrown out of the car, deputies said.

A Union Pacific representative said the tracks were not damaged.

Deputies said an autopsy and tests by the coroner's office will determine if Lopez had been under the influence of alcohol.
