Builder Kevin McGuinness was twice over the limit when he crashed his Toyota truck into a taxi, killing the driver and one of his passengers. The 46-year-old, who had three previous convictions for drink-driving, now faces life behind bars at one of America's toughest prisons. McGuinness, originally from Garrison, Co Fermanagh, was arrested in 2005 after he raced through a red light, slamming into a taxi at the corner of San Francisco's Broadway and Webster Streets. McGuinness was refused bail following the smash, and appeared yesterday in San Francisco Superior Court for sentencing.
