Using a "crossover cable," two machines can be plugged together using their Ethernet ports. The crossover cable is designed for direct connection between two Ethernet devices (PCs, peripherals, etc. or remotely through a network. * Modbus, BACnet, or LonTalk interoperability. Modbus is now standard on all GTS humidifiers, allowing communication with Modbus building automation systems. BACnet and LonTalk interoperability are available options. * USB port A USB socket on a computer or peripheral device into which a USB cable is plugged.
