 DREXEL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TO HONOR MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
 WITH SPECIAL PRAYER SERVICE
 Event: On the eve of the first anniversary of the Persian Gulf
 war, students at Drexel University will pause to reflect
 on a man of peace at a special prayer service, "A
 Celebration in Honor of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King
 Jr."
 Date: Wednesday, Jan. 15 (King's actual birthday)
 Time: 7:30-8:30 p.m.
 Place: Drexel's Stein Auditorium, first floor of Nesbitt Hall,
 33rd and Market streets (northeast corner), Philadelphia
 Description:
 Sponsored by Drexel's Black Student Union and the Drexel Asbury Protestant Ministry, the King prayer service will feature readings from the late civil rights leader's writings and speeches, prayers for world peace, and special music by the Drexel University Gospel Choir. The 60- member choir will perform a rendition of "Shine Your Light," a song written as a tribute to King, and two other selections.
 This is the sixth year Drexel will hold a special program commemorating King's birthday. Past speakers have included civil rights activist Julian Bond and King's daughter Yolanda King.
 Note: TV trucks may park on the sidewalk along Market Street.
