DRC Awarded $4 Million Contract to Support the Joint Strike Fighter Program.

ANDOVER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 2002

Dynamics Research Corporation (Nasdaq: DRCO) today announced it has been awarded a four-year contract valued at $4 million to provide modeling, simulation, and supportability analysis services to the U.S. Defense Department Joint Strike Fighter Program Office.

This prime contract requires the performance of specific analysis and trade studies during the program's system development and demonstration phase. DRC will evaluate expected performance of the aircraft and system being developed by Lockheed Martin Corporation, the prime air system contractor, against key mission and support metrics such as sortie generation rates, logistics footprint and mission reliability. Additionally, DRC will assist the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office with the continued development of the autonomic logistics concept and related requirements. Since 1995 DRC has provided logistics modeling and simulation support services to the program and has supported the autonomic logistics effort.
