DRC AWARDED $11.2 M TO SUPPORT THE USAF B-52 SYSTEM PROGRAM OFFICE.


Dynamics Research Corporation (Nasdaq:DRCO) was awarded contracts valued at potentially $11.2 million over the next five years to provide services in support of the U.S. Air Force's B-52 System Program See system software. Office (SPO SPO - Sacramento Peak Observatory (Sunspot, NM)

), headquartered at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. The contracts, which began May 14, extend DRC's work for the B-52 SPO and the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, longstanding DRC customers. DRC expects the B-52 program contracts to contribute approximately $1.32 million to revenues for the remainder of 2002 and $2.14 million in 2003.

According to the terms of the contract awards, DRC is to provide program management, technical, logistics and systems engineering support services. This will include providing assistance with engineering studies and analyses, supporting flight test activities and independent cost analyses of proposed modifications to the B-52.

"Since 1991, DRC has continually expanded its presence, initially within Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, and more recently in the B-52 SPO," said James P. Regan, chairman and chief executive officer. "These competitively awarded contracts further solidify DRC's position as an important supplier of professional technical, logistics and engineering services within the B-52 SPO. We are proud to be doing work that will have a direct effect on the outcome of Air Force combat."
