DRAGONS SIGN DUO; Tsiaklis and Sakho join Racecourse: 'We're going to spank somebody'.

Byline: GARETH BICKNELL

WREXHAM boss Dean Saunders Dean Nicholas Saunders (born 21 June, 1964 in Swansea, Wales) was a Welsh footballer and was a prolific forward.

He is probably best known for playing for Aston Villa.
signed Angelos Tsiaklis and Lamine Sakho Lamine Sakho (born September 28, 1977 in Dakar, Senegal) is a Senegalese football player who currently plays as a midfielder for Montpellier HSC in the French Second Division. His previous clubs were Nîmes Olympique, RC Lens, Olympique Marseille and AS Saint-Étienne.  - and warned "somebody's going to get spanked". Saunders has brought in Cypriot midfielder Tsiaklis and Senegal international striker Sakho ahead of today's clash away to Cambridge United in a bid to kick-start his side's stuttering stuttering or stammering, speech disorder marked by hesitation and inability to enunciate consonants without spasmodic repetition. Known technically as dysphemia, it has sometimes been attributed to an underlying personality disorder.  quest for Verb 1. quest for - go in search of or hunt for; "pursue a hobby"

Tsiaklis, who impressed while on loan with the Dragons from City last season, has signed a short-term deal, while Sakho has joined Wrexham until the end of the season, although Saunders will look again at his progress in January.

Both are available for today's Abbey Stadium clash against eighth-placed Cambridge, who are six points and seven places above Wrexham but have played two games more.

Saunders said of 31-year-old Sakho: "He's a class player - the only issue for me was his fitness really and it still is. He's signed until January and his contract's slanted towards him making appearances for us so we're covering ourselves that way.

"He's played 57 times for his country and he's played for some top clubs - Leeds United, Marseille, St Etienne - so as long as he's fit he has to have an impact for us.

"We'll be signing Angelos for a month with a view to extending it if he does well," he added.

Sakho and 19-year-old Tsiaklis have been brought in to bolster a Dragons team which has struggled for goals, but Saunders said he was confident that would soon change.

"I'm still trying to get the right combination of people who'll work hard and defend but also get in the box and score goals," he said. "I'm looking around at the bench and looking around at the players who have played this morning, and we've got good players and the goals will come, and I'm sure we'll spank someone soon five or six."

Wrexham also confirmed that Polish goalkeeper Erwin Sak has been cleared to sign for Wrexham should they need him while first-choice stopper Sam Russell recovers from a dislocated dis·lo·cate
