Although no financial goal has been set for the event, Huncke said sponsors have been generous with their donations, including items for a silent auction that will take place Saturday evening.

The grand opening will begin at 3 p.m. with the celebrity open tournament. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children, with additional activities for the children available. From 5 to 7 p.m., the musical group Drop Zone will perform. At 7 p.m., the evening will become adults-only, with a separate ticketed event that includes a gourmet dinner, music by Dalton Grant and a silent auction.

A limited number of tickets for the dinner/dance are still available; the cost is $60 per person.
