"To me the exciting aspect of these many success stories is that in each case, not only has clinical care improved, but financial performance has been outstanding," said Murray Reicher, M.D., a practicing neuroradiologist neuroradiologist A radiologist specialized in using various imaging techniques to diagnose diseases of the nervous system  and chairman of DR Systems. "The era is now dawning where a single system can provide a RIS/PACS solution that delivers additional features such as cardiology, mammography mammography, diagnostic procedure that uses low-dose X rays to detect abnormalities in the breasts. The early diagnosis of breast cancer made possible by the routine use of mammography for screening women increases a woman's treatment alternatives and improves her , scheduling, marketing, archiving, automated report creation and web distribution. DR Systems' organically grown solution provides this unified solution. The result is a long-term cost-per-imaging exam of between $1 and $3. That is less than most vendors now charge simply for archive, and about 10 percent of what this complete solution has historically cost."

The DR Systems PACS was recently featured at a high-profile event at George Washington University Hospital. In addition to that hospital's appearance on the "Most Improved Winners" list, the facility recently served as the site for a kickoff press conference held by Sens.
