DR Systems Lands Six New PACS Contracts Worth Nearly $3.5 Million.


SAN DIEGO San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay.  -- DR Systems today announced six new RIS/PACS contracts totaling nearly $3.5 million. The facilities awarding the contracts are:

--Portneuf Medical Center (Pocatello, Idaho Pocatello (IPA: [po kə tɛ lo]) is the county seat and largest city of Bannock CountyGR6 )

--Pueblo Medical Imaging (Las Vegas, Nev.)

--Grays Harbor Community Hospital (Aberdeen, Wash.)

--Idaho Medical Imaging (Pocatello, Idaho)

--Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital (Hamilton, Mont.)

--St. Joseph Medical Center (Polson, Mont.)

Among the facilities, Grays Harbor has a MEDITECH hospital information system and St. Joseph is served, along with a sister hospital, by a MEDITECH radiology information system A Radiology Information System (RIS) is used by radiology departments to store, manipulate and distribute patient radiological data and imagery. The system generally consists of patient tracking and scheduling, result reporting and image tracking capabilities. . DR Systems has interfaced its technology with MEDITECH at more than 30 other hospitals, including Kalispell Regional Hospital (Kalispell, Mont.), Howard County General Hospital (Columbia, Md.), Beaufort Memorial Hospital (Beaufort, S.C.), Merle merle
