DR Systems Lands Multi-Facility, Enterprise-Wide PACS Contract with Samaritan Health Services.

Coronado is across the bay.  -- Samaritan Health Services health services Managed care The benefits covered under a health contract  of Corvallis, Or., has awarded a multi-facility contract to DR Systems for its Dominator(TM) PACS (Picture ArChiving System) A storage and management system for high-resolution images. Typically pertaining to the medical field, images such as X-rays, MRIs and CAT scans require a greater amount of storage than other industries. . The turnkey systems will be installed at five Samaritan healthcare facilities, in the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon Coast regions.

Samaritan's enterprise PACS solutions includes DR Systems' Instant Reporter(TM), which delivers diagnostic results to the physician's personal computer automatically. Based on the physician's individual preferences, the images are properly windowed Win´dowed

Samaritan facilities installing the DR Systems Dominator PACS are: Samaritan Albany General Hospital, in Albany; Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital, in Lebanon; Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, in Newport; Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, in Corvallis; and Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital, in Lincoln City.
