DPT Expands Manufacturing Capacity at San Antonio Plant to Meet Customer Demand; Expansion Provides Greater Scheduling Flexibility.

SAN ANTONIO -- DPT Laboratories, Ltd., has completed an expansion of its new cell manufacturing suite in order to better serve customer demand in contract pharmaceutical manufacturing at its San Antonio plant.

The $1 million expansion project includes additional vessels for high viscosity products, along with further enhancements to the manufacturing environment.

"We are adding a new suite to meet customer demand and to provide us with more flexibility for clients," said DPT President Paul Johnson. "This is an example of an ongoing investment by DPT to provide great service to current clients and to be proactive for future client needs."

This redundant capacity augments similar capabilities already present at the San Antonio plant, and will provide DPT with increased flexibility to provide clinical trial material, conduct research and development projects, and to schedule maintenance.

The expansion project also includes special dust collection equipment for adding powders to the mixer, as well as new space for additional process equipment.
