DPT Expands Manufacturing Capacity at San Antonio Plant to Meet Customer Demand; Expansion Provides Greater Scheduling Flexibility.


SAN ANTONIO San Antonio (săn ăntō`nēō, əntōn`), city (1990 pop. 935,933), seat of Bexar co., S central Tex., at the source of the San Antonio River; inc. 1837.  -- DPT Laboratories, Ltd., has completed an expansion of its new cell manufacturing suite in order to better serve customer demand in contract pharmaceutical manufacturing at its San Antonio plant.

The $1 million expansion project includes additional vessels for high viscosity products, along with further enhancements to the manufacturing environment.

This redundant capacity augments similar capabilities already present at the San Antonio plant, and will provide DPT with increased flexibility to provide clinical trial material, conduct research and development projects, and to schedule maintenance.

The expansion project also includes special dust collection equipment for adding powders to the mixer mixer, either of two electronic devices in which two or more signals are combined.
