DPM opens new thermal ribbon slitting plant.


Digital Printing Media (DPM), a member of Korim Co. Ltd., has announced the opening of a new thermal transfer ribbon slitting facility in West Caldwell, NJ, USA. The plant features highly automated film slitters and packaging equipment.

"This new facility and equipment represents the start of a series of key investments being made by DPM to become a worldwide leader in thermal transfer ribbon production," says Jin Kim, president of DPM. "In addition, investments are being made not only in our facilities, equipment and systems, but also in the hiring of key industry personnel to further facilitate our growth and enhance our value to our customers."

Digital Printing Media is a manufacturer of thermal transfer bar code printer ribbons headquartered in West Caldwell, NJ, USA, with sales offices in Florida. Korim Co. is an ISO 9001/14001 certified coater and slitter of thermal transfer ribbons headquartered in Chung-Ju City, South Korea, with distribution in Asia, Europe, and North and South America. The company's products are generally used for label and tag printing and address a wide variety of applications, including those in industrial, healthcare, retail, and automotive.
