:DPL) announced today that it will release its first quarter 2002 earnings results on Tuesday April 23, 2002 after the closing of the financial markets.

In conjunction with the earnings release, DPL will conduct a webcast conference call with financial analysts on April 24, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time, which will provide an overview of financial results for the quarter followed by a question and answer session.
