:DPL) announced today that its Board of Directors has raised the annual dividend to $0.96 per share, a 2% increase, declaring a quarterly dividend of $0.24 per share payable March 1, 2004 to common shareholders of record on February 13, 2004.

"The Board's decision to increase the dividend underscores DPL's commitment to enhance shareholder returns," said Caroline E. Muhlenkamp, Group Vice President and Interim Chief Financial Officer. "This reflects our solid operating results and strong free cash flow, coupled with ongoing actions by management to increase liquidity and strengthen the Company's capital structure."
