An accomplished executive, Burkett has been involved with DPG's parent company, CM Equity Partners, Ltd., since 1999. Burkett currently serves as the Chairman of Evans Consoles Corporation, a specialty furniture business located in Alberta Canada. He is also the co-founder and Executive Vice Chairman of Resource Partners PLC, a London-based specialty finance company. Previously, Burkett held positions with Takata Corporation, McKinsey & Company, Inc. and Credit Suisse First Boston Credit Suisse First Boston was originally the trading name of the Financière Crédit Suisse-First Boston, a London-based 50-50 investment banking joint venture formed in 1978 between the First Boston Corporation and Credit Suisse.  Ltd.

Burkett's chief responsibilities include enhancing the synergies between Winn Devon, CAP, and Portal, as well as to reinforce DPG's commitment to being the number one publisher of art and image-based products to the wholesale and retail industries. Burkett replaces Robert Hopkins who will continue on as a member of the Board of Directors for DPG.
