DPAC Technologies Corp. (Nasdaq:DPAC), a provider of patented stacking technology for high-density, space-saving specialty electronic components, today announced that it is continuing its diversification Diversification

plan with a product line for entry into the wireless market. DPAC has seen continued success with its high-density stacking technology and recently announced a new stacking technology, the DuraStack(TM). Introduced in early April of this year, DuraStack(TM) has already seen success and has commitments from its beta customers for its sample production into June. The opportunity in the wireless marketplace combines DPAC's expertise in high-density packaging with the need of the marketplace for wireless products.

"To achieve the growth we want for DPAC," Ted Bruce, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  and president said, "we have been very busy identifying other market opportunities and have found an excellent opportunity in the wireless market."

Mr. Bruce continued, "We have performed a thorough analysis of the wireless market that validates the customers' need for a new solution, and the value proposition we would offer to them. With growth opportunities identified in embedded and industrial applications, we have entered the wireless market with a new product line offering OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  customers an integrated local area wireless solution for easy incorporation into their products. Our wireless technology solution will provide the hardware and software necessary to implement a wireless solution within the customer's system at reduced costs and quicker time-to-market. We have found that the market's awareness of DPAC and the prevalent need for the solution we are proposing is allowing us to quickly open meaningful dialog with new potential customers."

Mr. Bruce continued, "We are currently developing the first product for this new product line, and we expect to complete this development activity in the third fiscal quarter. We have identified more then 300 potential customers and plan to immediately begin efforts to qualify these customers and develop their understanding of the solution that DPAC will be able to offer them."

"Although we have developed strategies to accelerate the adoption of our product line, it is important to recognize that there is an investment period to get us to mass production. It is reasonable to expect first revenues from this effort in 12 to 18 months. After all, if one is building a home, one cannot move in on the same day that construction starts."

"The executive team and entire company are committed to making this product line a success. The entry into the wireless market is addressing DPAC's need to diversify diversify

and grow the company through new technology. While the current stacking marketplace is maturing, but is still growing, it has become more competitive in the price of the stacking service. We feel the DuraStack(TM) will keep DPAC competitive, however, we are still aware of our need to diversify, as DuraStack(TM) alone, will not be enough revenue for the future growth expectations."

"During our extensive search in the wireless area, we have also identified other development and investment opportunities. I think it is very likely we will launch additional activity in the wireless space that will increase our success level and strengthen our overall market position. With the new DuraStack(TM) product and entry into the wireless market, we have expanded our sales effort to include seeking more applications for our products at the OEM level while expanding our market breadth market breadth

. By differentiating ourselves we intend to take a leadership position in these new opportunities."
