Doherty High standout Bedward Ortiz went 2 for 2 with four RBIs to lead Main South (12-1) over visiting West Boylston (3-8) at New Balance Field.

Adam Michael Goldstein (born March 30, 1973) is better known as club disc jockey DJ AM. He is known for his previous high profile relationship with Nicole Richie.
 (three doubles) with the winning run as West Side advanced to the 14-year-old Massachusetts State Babe Ruth Tournament.

The win would have set up a Schwartz vs. West Side matchup for the District 4 title, but because West Side is hosting the state tournament, Schwartz and West Side were declared district co-champions, and both advance to the state tournament.

West Side defeated East Side, 13-4, earlier in the day to set up the matchup against Burncoat.
