Under a new agreement, The Dayton Power and Light Company (DP&L) will supply Buckeye Power, Inc. with wholesale electric transmission and distribution service across 11 counties in West Central Ohio.

Beginning July 1, 2003, Buckeye will purchase network transmission and ancillary services from DP&L under its existing Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT OATT Open Access Transmission Tariff ). In addition, DP&L will provide Buckeye with distribution service under a separate agreement.

Buckeye Power is a generation and transmission electric cooperative and the exclusive wholesale supplier of power to its electric distribution cooperative members. DP&L has been supplying transmission and distribution service to Buckeye since 1968 under an agreement that expires June 30, 2003.
