Mr. Iyer will direct a long-range integrated fuel procurement strategy for the company and oversee day-to-day oil and coal purchasing. Mr. Iyer joins DPL from PG&E National Energy Group, a Maryland integrated energy provider, where his most recent position was Director, Asset Management. During his tenure at PG&E National Energy Group, he also held the positions of Portfolio Management Services Director and Coal & Oil Procurement & Marketing Director. His extensive energy experience includes senior fuel management and procurement positions with U.S. Generating Company and New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt. Power Company.
